Meet Vallerie Tarazi, a Palestinian swimmer from the diaspora who will be swimming to represent Palestine in the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics.
Whereas most athletes have winning a medal for their country on the forefront of their minds, for Vallerie, it's all about raising awareness on the Palestinian struggle, especially in Gaza.
Vallerie grew up in the US after her family was kicked out of Gaza Strip - where she still has family.
At the 2024 Paris Olympics later this month, she will join the Palestine contingent alongside eight other Palestinian athletes.
