One year after the devastating Turkey-Syria earthquakes, survivors continue to grapple with profound trauma, as highlighted by psychologist Evana Ward.

The earthquake survivors suffer prolonged psychological consequences, including hypervigilance, phobias, anxiety, depression, and recurring nightmares.

Children, particularly sensitive to the upheaval, display disrupted sleep and eating patterns, bed-wetting, and a strong need for reassurance from their parents due to an ongoing sense of insecurity.
