Little Palestinian girl in Gaza carries wounded sister, walks 2km seeking treatment

A video has surfaced online showing a young and exhausted Palestinian girl carrying her injured sister on her shoulders in the embattled Gaza Strip, making her way down war-torn streets to help her sister get needed treatment. By the time the cameraman spotted her, the girl had been walking over 2km for over an hour while supporting her sister, who had one leg in a cast. They were trying to make it to their camp for displaced people in Bureij in central Gaza. When asked by the person filming, “Why are you carrying her like that?” the girl responded, “She was hit by a car.”
