Lebanese Home owner shares video playing piano after Israeli army destroyed it a year ago

This viral video, shared by Israeli troops, shows them ransacking a home in southern Lebanon and joking around with a destroyed piano. Dr. Julia Ali, a Lebanese citizen from the border village of Khiyam, recognized her family home and piano in the footage. Julia later shared a video she recorded last year in the same spot, playing a piece from The Pianist, a film about a Holocaust survivor. "My home in Khiyam held years of memories, years of playing my piano. My heart is shattered," she said. Her home is among thousands destroyed by Israeli forces since the start of the Israeli war on Lebanon, which has killed more than 2,000 people since 23 September.
