Israel's onslaught on Lebanon threatens to spill over the region

Fears mount of a wider regional conflict and an Israeli invasion of Lebanon. Israel continued its aerial bombardment of Lebanon, killing at least 105 people, with airstrikes hitting the centre of the capital Beirut. This comes after Israel launched a series of air raids on Houthi targets in Yemen and Syria. More than 1,000 Lebanese have been killed and 6,000 wounded in the past two weeks, according to Lebanon's Health Ministry. At least one million people - a fifth of the population - have fled their homes according to Lebanon's government.
