Based in Beirut, Aisha Kehoe Down is an investigative reporter with the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP). She has covered stories across the world, including in Africa and the Middle East.
As a member of OCCRP’s tobacco team, Aisha led projects exposing ties between top-level politicians, organised crime figures, and giant multinational tobacco companies in Iraq and the Sahel. She began her career in Cambodia, working for The Cambodia Daily, an award-winning national newspaper.
