Feirouz's latest album is already creating excitement in the Arab world
One of the Arab world's best loved singers has just released her latest highly-anticipated album at the age of 81, with Fairouz's Bebalee available for download on Friday.

The album was produced by the Lebanese singer's daughter Reema Rahbani and so far looks like it will add to her legacy in Arabic music.

The ten-track album includes the songs Bi BaliLameenYemkinMa Tez3al MenniAna W YakHikayat KtirBgheir DeneBeit zghir, and Rah Nerjaa Netla2a, according to Lebanese blog the961.com.

It includes a cover of John Lennon's Imagine ("Yemkin"), as well as Fairouz's take on other classic songs.

Fairouz's Facebook page released a link to the album for download on Friday with an image of the album cover. The sparse cover features a painting showing a profile of the singer's iconic face on a black background.

It follows a teaser campaign on social media over the past few months, with three tracks released and images showing legend in the recording studio.

Fairouz has been one of the region's best-known and most loved singers who came to fame in the 1960s and 1970s, which coincided with the outbreak of war in her native Lebanon.

Her songs about love and her country helped mend many broken hearts and relationships. 

Fairouz's latest album has been hailed and has shown her many fans her passion for making music.
