Families in Beirut who have been forced to flee Israeli airstrikes in the past 24 hours are facing huge stress, an NGO warned.
ActionAid said on Saturday that humanitarian needs in Lebanon have soared as a result of people being forced to leave homes overnight.
Sabine Abiaad, ActionAid's regional campaigns coordinator said "Israel’s continuous bombardment lasted throughout the night, leaving our children, families and loved ones in a state of extreme stress and panic."
Abiaad said the past 24 hours have been the most "difficult and terrifying period".
