The Israeli air force attacked Gaza early Wednesday in a fresh assault on the already devstated Strip, Palestinian eyewitnesses said.

Israel claimed that it was targeting 'camps' belonging to the Islamic Jihad in Rafah, Khan Yunis and Gaza City.
There were no immediate reports of casualties.
Late Tuesday a rocket fired from Gaza, struck southern Israel, causing no casualties or damage.
Wednesday's attack was the third since the ceasefire ending the 50-day Israeli war on Gaza in the summer of 2014, which killed about 2,200 Palestinians.
