Five Palestinians injured as Israel storms Tulkarm
Five Palestinians were injured by gunfire early on Sunday morning when Israeli forces stormed the city of Tulkarm in the West Bank.
Local sources said that a large number of Israeli troops entered Tulkarm and its refugee camp early in the morning, while Israel snipers occupied rooftops.
Clashes then broke out between local residents and the Israeli forces.
Palestinian fighters in Tulkarm also set off an IED near an Israeli armoured vehicle, and fought the Israeli troops at several entrances to the city.
The Israeli troops remained in Tulkarm for four hours before withdrawing.

The storming of Tulkarm came after shots were fired in the direction of the nearby Avnei Hefetz settlement, which is built on confiscated Palestinian land, on Saturday morning.
Israeli troops sealed off all the entrances to Tulkarm in the aftermath of the shooting, which did not result in casualties.
The five Palestinians injured in the Israeli raid were taken to the Thabet Thabet government hospital, where medical sources described their condition as “unstable”.
Over 200 Palestinians have been killed in ongoing deadly Israeli raids in the West Bank and attacks on the besieged Gaza Strip this year.
