International condemnation has surged following Israel's bombing of internally displaced people's tents in Rafah on Sunday, which killed more than 45 Palestinians, including children. The International Court of Justice had ordered Israel to halt its military operations in Rafah, citing potential genocidal actions. Despite this, Israeli forces continued their operations, leading to further casualties and destruction. China's Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning expressed grave concern over the situation. Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly criticized the attacks, highlighting the lack of safe spaces for Palestinian civilians. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned the massacre, denouncing it as a display of the "bloody and treacherous face of the terrorist state". Meanwhile, EU Foreign Policy Chief Josep Borrell strongly condemned the attacks, emphasising the lack of safe places in Gaza. The massacre on Sunday night also prompted thousands to take to the streets in cities worldwide, including Paris, New York, London, Sydney, and Madrid, demanding an immediate and permanent ceasefire and calling for international intervention.
