The equivalent of two nuclear bombs have been dropped on Gaza.

With over 18,000 killed so far, the human cost is huge. But what is the environmental impact? Experts predict that CO₂ emissions in Gaza have exceeded 60.304 million tonnes.

That is equivalent to 18% of the UK’s annual CO₂ production. Human Rights Watch reports that Israel has dropped white phosphorus on Gaza, while The Washington Post revealed that this unlawfully used chemical was supplied to Israel by the US.
