The speeches on the last night of the Republican National Convention promised unity, though the messaging throughout was repeatedly hostile to those with different backgrounds and beliefs. Some of the most inflammatory statements came from Donald Trump himself, who repeatedly brought up "illegal aliens" (an outdated term generally considered racist), saying they were flooding the US and committing crimes - even though immigrants, including those who are undocumented, tend to have a lower crime rate than others residing in the US.

While Trump didn't offer any specific details on what his approach to the Middle East would be if he returned to the presidency, he did say he would "end every single international crisis" that has started under the Biden administration - and referenced Israel's war on Gaza. He also mentioned Iran, saying they went from "broke" to having $250 billion in wealth, though he didn't provide evidence of this nor did he say what his plans would be regarding Iran if he was re-elected president.
