Ben Jamal, director of the UK Palestine Solidarity Campaign, has criticised British political leaders for their failure to condemn Israel’s actions in Gaza, Lebanon, and the West Bank.
Speaking to The New Arab at the London pro-Palestine solidarity protest on Saturday to mark one year of Israel's genocidal war on Gaza, he highlighted the moral hypocrisy of supporting Israel while ignoring its military aggressions.
He added that these actions have led to significant civilian deaths, including children.
Jamal also warned that continued support for Israel could escalate into a regional conflict, affecting global peace, urged people to pressure companies and institutions to divest from those supporting Israel’s military actions.
