Maxine Betteridge-Moe is a London-based freelance journalist with an MA Media in Development from SOAS, University of London. I did my Bachelor's of Journalism at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada and she have freelanced since 2017, working in print, digital, TV and radio.
She specialises in narrative storytelling from a human-interest perspective. Her beats are broad - Maxine covers human rights, aid and development, gender issues, and the arts for outlets including Al Jazeera, The New Humanitarian and Quartz, among others.
