Locals of two Palestinian villages in the northern West Bank fear for their future as Israel began bulldozing nearby lands to make way for 'building a wall'.

Violence began when Israeli troops demolished the family home of a Palestinian alleged to have attacked and killed Israelis.

Palestinian prisoner Mohammad Allan said on Thursday that he was restarting his hunger strike after Israeli forces rearrested him following his release from hospital, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Club.

Shireen Issawi who is held by Israel has gone on hunger strike in solidarity with imprisoned fellow lawyer Mohammed Allan who is in a coma.
