Young Palestinian man gunned down in drive-by shooting

Police are investigating the death of Rabih Fareej, who was shot and killed by an unidentified assailant on a busy street in the village of Kafr Qasim.

A Palestinian man identified as Rabih Fareej was killed on Saturday afternoon after being shot in the village of Kafr Qasim in central Israel, Arab 48 reported.

It has been reported that Fareej's three brothers were killed previously in similar crimes.

Fareej, 29, was critically injured after being shot from a short distance by a passing vehicle. He was taken to Beilinson hospital were he succumbed to his wounds.

Witnesses say the attack was carried out in a busy street. Residents of the town voiced their resentment for the violence and killings in Kafr Qasim.

Police are investigating the incident.

Rabih Fareej's brothers - Rakiz, Abdulrahman and Suleiman - were also killed in violent attacks, according to Palestinian media.
