Ronaldo dons traditional thobe to mark Saudi National Day
Cristiano Ronaldo has appeared in a video wearing traditional Saudi attire to celebrate the Saudi National Day.
Ronaldo, who is captain of the Saudi Al-Nassr football club, appeared with his teammates in the video which was released on the football club's official account on X - formerly Twitter.
To mark the occasion, the Portuguese superstar donned an authentic daglah robe - also known as thobe - a traditional men's robe worn in various Middle Eastern countries.

Ronaldo, Senegalese footballer Sadio Mane, and their Al-Nassr teammates appeared performing traditional dances with swords prepared to mark the Saudi holiday by the club in the two-minute video.
Ronaldo can also been seen drinking coffee, posing for photos and dancing with a celebratory sword in the video.
Since Ronaldo joined the Saudi club in December 2022, he has usually taken part in Saudi holidays.
Saudi Arabia marks its 93rd National Day on Saturday, during which military parades, a biker parade, an arms exhibition across major cities are expected to be held, among other festivals.
