Palestinian man shot dead days before wedding
A Palestinian man was shot dead on Thursday by an unknown person on a motorbike in the city of Arraba, northern Israel, according to local news reports.
The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Muhammad al-Sankari, who was in preparations for for his wedding which was due to take place on 16 August.
Following the shooting, al-Sankari was taken to Ziv Medical Centre in Safed, but died shortly after.
Both Palestinians and Israelis have been victims of previous drive-by shootings in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories.
On Monday, an Israeli settler had been shooting at Palestinians in the village of Al-Tuwani, in an attack reportedly using an Israeli M16 rifle.
Police have opened up an investigation into the murder of al-Sankari.
