At least one Palestinian child was injured by Israeli gunfire during a military raid east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday.
An Israeli army force stormed the town of Beit Furik, raiding several neighbourhoods amid clashes with Palestinian residents.
Witnesses told Anadolu Agency that paramedics from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society were treating a 14-year-old boy who was shot in the foot.
Israeli troops carried out more raids across the West Bank at dawn on Wednesday, both in the northern and southern parts of the territory with several people arrested.
Israel has stepped up its military raids across the occupied territory since the start of the Gaza war on 7 October.
Since then, at least 568 Palestinians have died in the raids and violent Israeli settler attacks, including children, according to Palestinian health authorities, and thousands more wounded or arrested including minors.
The West Bank and East Jerusalem were occupied by Israel in 1967 in a move still condemned by the international community.
In the besieged and bombed-out Gaza Strip, more than 38,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israel’s air and ground offensive.
