One killed, several injured in central London knife attack
Police are investigating the possibility of terrorism in a knife attack that left one woman dead and five people injured on Wednesday night in the centre of London.

A women was killed and up to five people were injured in a mass stabbing attack in the centre of London late on Wednesday night.
London’s Metropolitan Police have confirmed that a woman has died of her injuries, while five people were wounded in the attack that occurred in Russell Square.
The attacker was arrested and police say a Taser was discharged by one of the arresting officers.
"Terrorism is one possibility being explored at this stage," said the statement release by police.
Police have cordoned off the area and extra police patrols have been deployed in the vicinity.
The attack took place near in an area close to the British Museum and is heavily frequented by tourists. The area also houses several universities.
