Marrakech awaits Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival for luxury hotel opening

Football star Cristiano Ronaldo is scheduled to travel with his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez to Morocco to open his luxury hotel in Marrakech, according to local media.

Moroccan news website Challenge said this week that the Manchester United star will travel to Marrakech before the end of the month to open his Pestana CR7 hotel, the first of its kind in Africa.

A number of high-profile celebrities are reportedly scheduled to attend the grand opening, after it was delayed for over a year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The hotel is reportedly located in M-Avenue, a luxury shopping complex in Marrakech which will open adjacent to the Four Seasons in the city.

The Pestana CR7 project is projected to house 174 rooms and will also house business centre, as well as a luxury clinic.
