Palestinian fighter group the Lions' Den revealed details of their latest military tactics against Israeli occupying forces on Sunday.
The new armed group, based in the West Bank city of Nablus, lured Israeli forces into a dawn ambush in the neighbourhood of the old city, opening fire on the troops and detonating explosive devices.
No casualties have yet been reported.
In a press release, the Lions' Den said they are "looking to engage the occupiers with a range of tactics."
"We have hidden our leaders and our fighters - so that Israel cannot know our whereabouts. The occupation does not know where we will strike next."
The tight grip that the Lion’s Den maintains on information sharing may be helping to thwart Israeli intelligence efforts to crack down on the new militia group.
"Citizens never share photos of any fighter or operation - on social media or in private," said the group.
Many security cameras around Nablus have even been removed from outside shops and homes, for fears of security breaches.
According to the Lions' Den, Israeli intelligence has been working to gain access to CCTV footage in Nablus to get an understanding of the group’s membership.
"These cameras have become a sword hanging over our fighters' necks," said the group in a statement.
Lions' Den fighters, mostly in their 20s and 30s, have carried out more than 1,000 operations in just two months, according to official statistics issued by the Palestinian Information Centre.
The media-savvy armed group relies on social media platforms to disseminate press releases and videos of attacks, most notably through its Telegram account, which has attracted more than 250,000 followers.
