Leonardo DiCaprio 'getting to know' Gigi Hadid weeks after split with Camila Morrone, say insiders
Actor Leonardo DiCaprio is reportedly pursuing Palestinian-Dutch supermodel Gigi Hadid just weeks after his split from long-term partner Camila Morrone, according to US media.
The 47-year-old Oscar winner and 27-year-old supermodel have been "hanging out in New York City", multiple sources told People magazine.
"They are getting to know each other," one insider said, adding that the pair aren’t "dating" just yet.
"Leo is definitely pursuing Gigi," another added.
Unnamed sources later told Us Weekly that the Titanic star has his "eyes set" on Hadid, but the pair are just "friends" because the supermodel "doesn’t want to be romantic with [him] right now".
DiCaprio recently ended his four-year relationship with model and actress Camila Morrone.
Reports of their romantic relationship first emerged in 2018. This was met with criticism online over the 22-year age gap.
The couple made their public debut at the 2020 Oscars.
Two years later, DiCaprio's break-up made international headlines given its coincidental timing just after Morrone’s 25th birthday. Jokes circulated widely online that DiCaprio refused to date women over the age of 25.

Palestinian-Dutch model Hadid previously dated Zayn Malik from the boy band One Direction. The pair had a child together in September 2020 but split the following year.
Malik was accused of assaulting Gigi's mother Yolanda Hadid before the breakup. Pleading no contest to the charges, the singer is required to serve 90 days of probation, complete an anger management class, and is barred from contact with Yolanda, according to People.
Despite this, Hadid and Malik reportedly hooked up "a few times" over the past summer, according to InTouch.
