Ahmad Younes, from the northern West Bank, was shot by Israeli troops and left to bleed to death on Tuesday.
The 17-year-old allegedly stabbed and lightly wounded an Israeli soldier at the Gush Etzion settlement junction, south of Bethlehem.
"Occupation troops shot a young Palestinian who was standing near Etzion junction, at close range, left him to bleed on the ground, and gathered around him without providing him with medical aid, until he died," a witness told local reporters.
There has been a spate of Palestinians, who have been living under Israeli military occupation for nearly five decades, attacking Israeli soldiers - mostly using knives - since mid-September.
More than 21 Israelis have been killed, mostly in stabbings and car-ramming attacks. Two Israelis were killed in a shooting on Friday in the coastal city of Tel Aviv, but the motive for that assault remains unclear.
Nashat Milhem, a Palestinian living in Israel, was accused of the Friday killing, and Israeli authorities are still searching for him.
Since the beginning of October, 145 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire.
Israel does not usually immediately return the bodies of alleged Palestinian attackers.
