The Israeli military said on Tuesday its 146th Division had started what it called limited, localised and targeted operations, claiming to target Hezbollah and infrastructure a day earlier in southwestern Lebanon. 

Meanwhile, at least 50 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured after Israeli airstrikes targeted several areas in the Gaza Strip on the first anniversary of Israel's onslaught on Gaza - including the northern, southern and central parts.
