Bennett and his entourage began isolating before they became aware of the contact with the Covid-infected traveller.

The PM and those who had accompanied him on his trip were tested for Covid-19 at the airport and will be tested again on Wednesday, in keeping with the rules.

The Israeli leader, who has received all three coronavirus jabs, abided by the relevant Covid-19 regulations while on his journey, according to his team.
