At least 300 people have been killed over nine days of Israeli siege in northern Gaza, with bodies strewn over the streets of the Jabalia Refugee Camp.

Israeli forces are committing "another massacre" there, the UN special rapporteur for the occupied Palestinian territory says.

Francesca Albanese said Palestinian civilians in Jabalia "are killed – both in groups and one by one – amid unspeakable cruelty and sadism" by Israeli troops "who have accepted to be 'willing executioners' of a genocidal plan".

A family of eight people were killed in an Israeli strike on a house in Gaza's Nuseirat refugee camp.

The attack killed killed parents and their six children, who ranged in age from 8 to 23, according to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in nearby Deir al-Balah, where the bodies were taken.

It said another seven people were wounded, including two women and a child in critical condition. An Associated Press reporter counted the bodies and filmed funeral prayers held at the hospital.

Six Palestinians, mostly children, were also killed in an Israeli artillery strike on a home in the Tuffah neighbourhood of Gaza City, according to Palestinian news agency Wafa

The deaths in Gaza comes amid continued Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon, with Israeli attacks on the main market of Nabatieh starting an 'apocalyptic' fire.

Lebanon's NNA news agency also said an Israeli air strike Sunday had destroyed a 100 year old mosque in the village of Kfar Tibnit in the south of the country.

Village mayor Fuad Yassin told AFP the village, located about eight kilometres from the border, had lost a beloved site that brought people together.
