Hezbollah warns of war without 'limits, rules and restraints' against Israel
Hezbollah on Saturday threatened to wage war with “no limit, rules and restraint” in response to any escalation of military activity by Israel on the Lebanese group.
The statement was made in a video produced by Hezbollah’s War Media under the title of ‘For Those Concerned’.
The video includes excerpts from a previous televised speech by Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, in which he said, “If war is imposed on Lebanon, the resistance will fight without limits, rules, or restraint.”
“Anyone thinking of waging war against us will regret it, God willing,” Nasrallah says in the video.
The short video also includes aerial surveillance footage of Israeli areas and cities obtained by Hezbollah during a wide reconnaissance operation carried out by its drones.
The reconnaissance images shown in the video once again demonstrate the extent of Hezbollah’s technological capabilities, with it capturing images of potential Israeli targets such as oil refineries in Haifa, Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, Ashdod Port and military bases in the Upper Galilee.
Last Tuesday, Hezbollah announced the execution of “Operation Hudhud” by sending a drone that returned with sensitive reconnaissance images from northern Israel, specifically from Haifa.
Hezbollah claimed that the drones managed to bypass Israeli air defences and returned without being detected or shot down, with the implication being it can strike deep into Israel without detection or deterrence.

In recent days, the intensity of threats between Israel and Hezbollah has intensified dramatically, with Israel escalating military attacks on southern Lebanon and Hezbollah reciprocating in northern Israel.
Earlier this week, US presidential envoy Amos Hochstein travelled to Lebanon and Israel to attempt to de-escalate tensions on the Lebanon-Israel border.
However, Hochstein left without making any progress, with Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz declaring that Israel is close to waging “all-out war” on Hezbollah and Lebanon.
“We are getting very close to the moment of deciding on changing the rules of the game against Hezbollah and Lebanon,” Katz wrote on X.
“In an all-out war, Hezbollah will be destroyed and Lebanon will be severely beaten,” he added.
This was followed up by a CNN report in which a senior US official was reported as saying the US would give Israel full support in a potential war with Hezbollah.
Violence between Hezbollah and Israel has been ongoing since the beginning of Israel's war on Gaza, with Hezbollah launching low level attacks on Israeli military positions in response to Tel Aviv's devastating war on Gaza, while Israel has responded with stronger attacks.
Such attacks have killed at least 480 people in Lebanon, most of whom are fighters but also including at least 93 civilians.
On the Israeli side, at least 15 soldiers and 11 civilians have been killed, according to Israeli authorities.
Heightened tensions in recent days on the Israel-Lebanon border have raised fears of an expanded regional conflict.
