A Palestinian man was shot dead by Israeli soldiers on Saturday following a clash with settlers near the West Bank city of Nablus, medics and security sources said.
The Palestinian Red Crescent identified the dead man as Imayyer Shehadeh, 22, from the town of Urif, adding that at least one other person was wounded.
Palestinian security sources said the clash was started by Israeli settlers, after which the army intervened and fired at a group of Palestinians.
The shooting comes just a day after Israeli forces killed a disabled Palestinian man during clashes in the occupied West Bank.
Mohammed al-Jabari, 24, was shot during the clashes in Hebron and later died in hospital, the ministry said.
Palestinian sources say the father of two was deaf and mute and that he was not actively engaging in any clashes when he was shot.
