Russia's President Vladimir Putin will make an official visit to Turkey on Monday, the office of the Turkish President announced on Friday.
Putin is already scheduled to visit Egypt on December 11 and will stop off in Turkey before travelling on to Cairo.
Putin and Erdogan are expected to discuss "key international problems" in Jerusalem and Syria, a statement by the Kremlin said.
The two leaders held a phone call on Thursday where they agreed that US President Trump's decision to recognise Jerusalem as Israel's capital would "negatively impact" peace and stability in the region.
