In pictures: A short walk in one Aleppo neighbourhood
Blog: The suburb of Urum al-Kubra, where the UN aid convoy was destroyed, has been hit hard by airstrikes.

The Urum al-Kubra neighbourhood of Aleppo has long been a focus of airstrikes, barrel bombs and other attacks by forces alllied to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
In late September, it was here that a UN convoy of 31 trucks carrying desperately needed humanitarian aid to the city which has been siege for months was destroyed.
But a short walk around the formerly residential district shows how widespread the devastation has been over the past five years of war.
