Almost two million Muslims of different cultures, creeds, colour and castes are currently gathered for the annual Hajj pilgrimage in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
The event marks the biggest global gathering of people, and united more nationalities from over 150 countries worldwide.
Muslims are expected to perform Hajj – one of five pillars of Islam – at least once in their lifetime, if their health and wealth permits.

Saudi authorities say they have done all they can to prepare for the five-day pilgrimage, having carried out emergency drills with civil servants.
Last year's Hajj pilgrimage ended in tragedy when a stampede left more than 2,400 pilgrims dead.
