Jeremy Clarkson 'goes commando' at Dubai Mall
Shoppers in Dubai Mall were left stunned when a tank ploughed through the wall this week, narrowly missing a man caped in the traditional white dress, according to a video that has, naturally, circulated among social media users in the Middle East.
But fear not, the forceful entry into the world's largest and most extravagant mall, was not a foreign military intervention, but was part of a stunt filmed as part of Britain's brand new Grand Tour series - a car show with a twist, and a lot of danger.
UAE residents spotted the tank driving alongside the Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Boulevard with a police escort before coming to a halt outside the mall where the Grand Tour tent was pitched up.
The weekly show, which is hosted by ex-Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, premiered on Amazon Prime in November and has since saw the trio drive super cars and create mischief in cities like Johannesburg, California, Rotterdam and Britain's Whitby, among others.
The Dubai Mall shoot reportedly forms part of the finale for the new show - a revamped, less-censored and more explosive version of the BBC's former Top Gear.
Amazon Prime took on the trio after the BBC axed the main, presenter Jeremy Clarkson after he punched a producer while on set.
